Review of the Nixon A037898 from the 42-20 Collection

I've gone through a bit of a love/hate relationship with Nixon (even though I will say at this point that hate is maybe too strong of a word). In any case, the point is this – some of the time Nixon watches are so far out there that, while I admire them, I know that I couldn't pull it off. But then, there are other times that Nixon comes out with a watch that is more center left and I start to fawn a bit. Such a watch is the Nixon A037898. I maybe would have preferred it with black accents, but to be honest the steel and white plastic version is unlike anything I have currently in my collection (and I would argue in yours as well).

This Nixon timepiece is made from polished stainless steel and white plastic. The bezel is in white, and it is unidirectional. Normally, I'd follow this up by saying this type of bezel is used for the measurement of elapsed time, but in this case it is not as there are no discernible makings on the bezel to get a reading. The screw locked crown and chrono-pushers are on the left side of the case, which makes this a lefty chronograph.
